The second label
What Stag Hill is, plainly
Stag Hill is our second label. We make the wine, but the grapes come from other Lamorinda growers who do not produce enough on their own to carry a label, and who combine their harvests. It exists so that fruit from small local vineyards gets bottled instead of blended away.
Every Stag Hill back label says the same thing, and we mean it: Lamorinda’s climate and hillside terrain is comparable to the best winemaking areas of Napa and Sonoma. Taste how good our local terroir can be.

The vineyard is a residential property with no tasting room. All thirteen wines are poured and sold at Local Vines in downtown Lafayette. If a wine you want is sold out, call and ask when the next release is bottled.
